Uniforms2Gear was started in 2000 under the name First Responders. Out of the two founders, Jason and Tracie Stewart, Jason was a full-time deputy for Bonneville County at the time and noticed the difficulty every deputy was having in acquiring the basic essential gear and accessories they needed to perform their jobs. He saw an opportunity to open a side business out of their spare bedroom and convinced Tracie to jump on it.
Through the early years, First Responders had grown to expand its product offerings to include duty gear, apparel, body armor, and other accessories. In working with our growing loyal customers, we slowly began to provide them for every need they had, including sewing and embroidery services.
In 2016, First Responders expanded its services to the Boise, ID market. At this time, the new location was operated under the name Uniforms2Gear. Following in 2018, it was decided that the two differing names should merge to provide one uniform identity: Uniforms2Gear.
Since 2017, we have expanded our service areas to include Montana, Wyoming, Washington, Oregon, Utah, and Nevada. We have attributed our growing success solely on the customer service that we provide. We maintain competitive pricing, unmatched quality, and personal service beyond anything else in our industry, and this has allowed us to focus on building solid relationships with all of our customers.
